Hatred based on ideological differences must not be allowed to poison our hearts. Differences in thought are natural, but they should never destroy relationships that can instead be nurtured through dialogue, engagement, wisdom, and sincere concern for one another. Our history teaches this powerfully: during the blessed era of Umar bin Abdul Aziz (RA), even those who brought division were first approached with piety, compassion, and dialogue. His taqwa, sincerity, and noble character softened hearts in ways that arguments alone never could. Likewise, Sulh Hudaibiyah remains a timeless lesson that patience, bridge-building, and principled engagement often achieve what confrontation cannot.

Today, labels such as Sunni, Shia, liberal, conservative, or any other identity should never blind us to sincerity, courage, justice, and goodness. Let us raise a generation free from hatred, firmly committed to justice, human dignity, and the highest moral values, one that refuses discrimination based on ideological differences. Instead of wasting precious time in idle talk, social media distractions, backbiting gatherings, or pursuits without benefit for dīn and dunya, let our youth dedicate themselves to education, service, community building, and uplifting humanity. Through love, wisdom, dialogue, and noble character, divisions heal, hearts reconnect, and societies rise. Allahu a‘lam.
