Telangana Governor to Launch Chand Tara Movie Trailer on June 3

Hyderabad, 2 June 2026: Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla will launch the trailer of “Chand Tara – The Legend of Taramati during a special event at Taramati Baradari Auditorium on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

The launch assumes special significance as the film’s trailer has recently premiered at the prestigious Festival de Cannes, bringing the legendary tale of Taramati and the cultural legacy of Hyderabad before an international audience.

The trailer will be formally launched by Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla in the presence of senior government dignitaries including Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, Vani Prasad, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Telangana Tourism, and Sarfaraz Ahmad, IAS, Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA.

Directed by acclaimed theatre personality and filmmaker Mohammad Ali Baig, the trailer launch is organized by the Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of legendary theatre icon Qadir Ali Baig, whose contribution to Indian theatre continues to inspire artists across generations.
