Muslim Personal Law Leaders to Address Mammoth Public Meet in Hyderabad

72nd Tameer e Millat Jalsa Announced

All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) leaders are all set to address a mammoth public meeting in the city, said Mr Syed Aneesuddin, Chairman Reception Committee, 72nd Jalsa Yaum-e-Rahmatul lil Alameen organized by the All India Majlis e Tameer e Millat (AIMTM).

Addressing a press conference on Thursday afternoon, Mr Syed Aneesuddin, Chairman of the 72nd Reception Committee, which overlooks the expansive annual conference, attended by Muslims from different parts of the State, said “Former Union Minister C M Ibrahim, renowned Islamic scholar and former Member of Parliament Maulana Obaidullah Khan Azmi, Secretary All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) Maulana Umrain Bin Mahfooz Rahmani and acting General Secretary of All India Muslim Personal Law Board Maulana Khaled Saifullah Rahmani will address the Tameer e Millat programs while Mohammad Qasim Siddiqui Taskheer will deliver his address virtually from the USA.

AIMTM President Mr Ziauddin Nayyarwould preside over.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Exploring Solutions to Contemporary Problems in the Light of Seerath (the life of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)”.

Every year, the Tameer-e-Millat organizes these programs on the occasion of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)’s Birth anniversary. The public meeting is a grand affair with thousands of people participating to listen to sermons by renowned Islamic scholars and religious leaders on the life and ways of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH).

In 2020, for the first time in over seven decades of its history, Tameer-e-Millat organized the Jalsa-e-Rahmatul lil Alameen virtually.

Mr Syed Aneesuddin said “he expects a gathering of thousands of admirers of Prophet Muhammed PBUH, who were deprived of the public meeting last year due to the prevalent Covid-19 restrictions. He urged the people to bring along their children and youngsters to the public meeting, as it has been a tradition for over 7 decades.

Speaking on the occasion, Tameer e Millat President Mr Ziauddin Nayyar said“the Tameer e Millat has always been helping and guiding Indian Muslims in the times of crises and natural disasters. This year’s agenda of the public meeting is to help Indian Muslims explore the solutions to contemporary political, social and existential challenges  in the light of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)’s teachings and way of life.”

The Jalsa-e-Rahmatul lil Alameen will be held on Tuesday (October 19, 2021) from 10am to 1pm at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally while the Jalsa-e-Yaum-e-Sahaba (companions of the Prophet) will be held on Wednesday (October 20, 2021) after Isha prayers at Chanchlaguda grounds in Hyderabad.

Tameer e Millat Vice President Dr Mushtaq Ali, Secretary Omer Ahmed Shafeeq, Chief organizer Mr Wahajuddin Siddiqui, AIMTM Dy. General Secretary Mr Mohammed Saifur Rahim Quraishi, and Vice Presidents of the Reception Committee Mr Khaleeq ur Rahman and Mr Azeem Qureshi were also present on this occasion.
