Peace and tranquility that once characterized Hyderabad and neighbouring areas seem to have hit a sticky patch. Crime in Hyderabad, particularly dreadful and loathsome incidents refuse to settle.
In a recent incident sure to instill one with cold shivers, the Malkajgiri police apprehended the family of a man named Kishan who killed his own father. The accused, butchered his father’s body, and stuffed it in six buckets. While the family was aware of the murder, it refrained from apprising the police fearing consequential backlash from the murderer.
According to sources, the murderer it still at large. The reason for murder is yet to be ascertained.
In another incident, Medchal police arrested a 30-year old lady Nagamani in connection with the murder of her step-daughter, a 14-year old girl. Investigation revealed the girl had a spat with her step mother arguing the lack of attention from her father, since he married Nagamani. The girl had asked Nagamani to leave the house, who murdered her and dumped her body. The truth came to light a month after the dead body of the teen girl was discovered by the police.
