There are several challenges to the growth machinery of Urdu and Urdu journalism, many of which earmarked impossible for eternity by Urdu scholars. But if the Wage board pay scale are justly implemented, loyalists given their rightful due, and the synthetic challenges were broadly met, there is no stopping for Urdu journalism and Urdu journalists alike.
Another important factor is the paucity of revenue for Urdu media. Despite their best efforts, Urdu journals today continue to be nonmagnetic to revenue sources, particularly the government and corporate sector.
The miniscule budget proportion of advertisements released by both the DIPR and DAVP, and even corporate sector in comparison to relatively princely budget for advertisements released in English twins, and in some cases, Telugu journals, is a strong setback to the growth of Urdu journalism on financial frontiers. It is also expunges the hope of better times in the frequently discussed inanimate aspects of Urdu journalism development.
