HYDERABAD: Combat robots, high-speed drone racing, artificial intelligence challenges and a live performance by Bollywood singer Amit Mishra will headline ATMoS ’26, as BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus gears up for its three-day techno-management festival from October 23 to 25.
Themed Augmented Ascension, the festival is expected to draw more than 20,000 attendees from over 60 institutions across India, with Synchrony Financial as the title partner.
Technology takes centre stage at this year’s edition, with an AI Hackathon challenging students to develop solutions to pressing social problems. A workshop hosted by Synchrony Financial will explore how artificial intelligence is used in financial security, including credit scoring and risk analysis. The campus Tech Expo will showcase more than 100 student projects in AI, robotics and software development.
For fans of engineering in action, RoboWars will bring more than 20 combat robots into the arena, while the BITS Drone Racing League returns for its third edition with more than 15 drones flown by professional first-person-view pilots. Organisers describe the competition as the largest field on the South India circuit.
The action will extend to the track with the SAE BPHC Auto Expo and Time Attack Race, where student teams will race custom-built all-terrain vehicles against the clock.
ATMoS ’26 will also feature Innowave, a national talent hunt that has attracted more than 5,000 participants, alongside Polympiad, a STEM initiative designed to nurture scientific curiosity among younger learners.
The festival’s entertainment line-up includes stand-up comedian Nishant Suri on October 23, a live set by the Mysore Express band, DJ nights and a laser mapping show. Bollywood playback singer Amit Mishra will headline Artist Night on October 24. Mishra is known for hits including “Bulleya” from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, “Galti Se Mistake” from Jagga Jasoos and “Allah Duhai Hai” from Race 3.
Organised annually since 2012, ATMoS stands for Assimilation of Technically Motivated Souls and brings together technology, engineering, innovation and entertainment. This year’s festival will run from October 23 to 25 at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.
