Services of Shadan Vizarath Rasool Khan honoured

The services of Mrs. Shadan Vizarath Rasool Khan, Secretary of the Shadan Educational Society, were honoured at a programme organised by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences, Teaching Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr. Roya Rozati, National Advisor, Indian Fertility Society and Director, MHRT Hospital, who also heads the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, paid rich tributes to Mrs. Khan for her contribution to education and for promoting healthcare, particularly among women.

Presenting a memento and Certificate of Appreciation, she said patients were “happy, feeling confident of the treatment, and satisfied” with the healthcare services, hospital maintenance, and its patient-centric administration under her leadership.

Mrs. Khan is the wife of the late Dr. Mohammed Vizarath Rasool Khan, often described as the ‘Sir Syed’ of Deccan, who established over 50 institutions that have had a significant impact on the educational landscape of the twin states of Andhra and Telangana.

Mrs. Khan, who currently leads the group of institutions as its Secretary, continues to uphold the legacy of educational empowerment. Her children are now overseeing various institutions across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, carrying forward the family’s commitment to education.

Outperforming PG students and final year MBBS students were also felicitated on this occasion. The programme concluded with expressions of appreciation for her continued service to society.
