Muslims Must Make Use of Modern Technology, Artificial Intelligence: AIMLB Spokeperson Sajjad Nomani

Hyderabad, December 3: Muslims must make use of technological advancement and modern tools for progressing on all fronts. Muslims to make optimum use of modern technology including Artificial intelligence, and robotics to further their education and career, said Renowned Islamic scholar and spokesperson of All India Muslim Personal Law Board Dr. Mohammed Khalilur Rahman Sajjad Nomani.

Speaking at the two day International Education Summit 2019 organized by Shaheen Group of Institutions at Shaheen Nagar, Bidar, Dr. Mohammed Khalilur Rahman Sajjad Nomani urged them to take pride in being patriotic, adding ‘every Muslim in India is proud to be born here, and has innate patriotism for the country.”

He said “in the age of technology, the current education system has empowered man to touch the skies but failed to teach man the means to be humble and compassionate”. He stressed on empowering the current education system with tools that inculcate human values, compassion for fellow countrymen and religious tolerance.

Addressing the young boys and girls at the gathering, Professor Dr Husni Mohammed, Consultant Ministry of Education, Government of Malaysia, stressed on designing a value based education system. He urged them to inculcate exemplary social and moral values so that their coexistence with others in the society is peaceful throughout.

Minister Counsellor in Embassy of Palestine Dr. Wael Al Batterkhi said “Palestine is the most suppressed nation in the world” but despite that “it is the most educated nation too”. He said “education is the ultimate tool to solve all problems”.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman and Founder Shaheen Group of Institutions Dr Abdul Khadeer said “Shaheen Group of Institutions was founded 31 years ago with just 17 students. Today, the group’s focus on providing value-based quality education has helped it setup 45 branches across eight states, with 15,000 students from 23 different states currently pursuing education at its campuses.

The Karnataka-based educational group which is now providing education in Hyderabad, is popularly known for their marvellous success in helping students securing free medical seats in government colleges and private medical colleges. “In the last 12 years, Shaheen has helped nearly 1500 students secure a free seat in government medical college, and most of these achievers were from deserving and needy families”, he said.

This year, Shaheen Group of Institutions helped nearly 450 students secure free medical seats in MBBS, BDS, MHMS in Karnataka. Having started the junior college with integrated coaching this year, Shaheen is expecting similar success in Hyderabad. Shaheen Group’s bridge course helps madrassa pass outs pursue education into professional courses through its 14 Hifz ul Quran Plus centres across India.

Mohammed Ateeq  Ahmed, Chancellor- Maulana Azad University (Jodhpur), Hafeez ul Mulk (Delhi), MESCO Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed, Dr. Iftekhar Uddin, Oxford University Scholar Abdullah Azam, Educational Technologist from Premji University Mujahid ul Islam, Ms. Najma Sultana from Maulana Azad University, Secretary Shaheen Group Mr. Abdul Haseeb, Dawood – founder of Happy Genius from Kerala, and several educationists and academicians  were also present on the occasion.
