Hyderabad, November 4: In the run up to the grand Jalsa scheduled on 10th November, a mega health camp was organized by Taamer e Millat at Khilwat Community Hall near Khilwat Grounds in Charminar on Monday. While doctors from MESCO Diagnostic Centre and City Neuro Centre screened the visitors for general ailments, free medical tests including CBP, CRP, Blood Sugar, Kidney and Liver tests were also conducted. Those in need of X-ray scanning were referred to MESCO Diagnostic Centre for free X- Rays.
The health camp, an initiative by the All India Majlis e Taamer e Millat, was organized by MESCO in collaboration with Azaan International School, Helping Hand Foundation, Thumbay Hospital, MS Education Centre, MESCO College of Pharmacy and Administrative Staff College of India.
Earlier, a blood donation camp was also organized by the organization on Saturday and Sunday, as part of week long celebrations commemorating the birth of Islam’s last Prophet Muhammed PBUH.
According to the President, Reception Committee Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed, “this year marks the 70th year of seminars and celebrations organized by the Taamer e Millat in Hyderabad.”
Dr. Fakhruddin says “On 5th November, the Taamer e Millat will distribute fruits among patients at Osmania General Hospital, and to the needy at the Imlibun Bus Station. On 6th, fruits will be distributed at Gandhi Hospital and Rani Gunj Bus Depot while Niloufer Hospital patients will be given free fruits on 7th November.”
On Sunday, Minority Affairs Advisor to Government of Telangana Mr. A.K.Khan also participated in the blood donation camp, while President of All India Majlis e Taamer e Millat Syed Ahmed Jaleel inspected the arrangements. Senior advocate Shamshuddin Azmi, Zeeshan, Waheed Azmi, Yousuf Hamedi reception committee member and Manzoor were also present during the health camp.
The 3-day medical camp, which began on Saturday, concluded with a rehabilitation workshop and free medical consultation with doctors for the participants.
