It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a true visionary in the field of education, Begum Anees Khan, the driving force behind  Nasr Educational Society that runs Nasr Schools in Hyderabd. Her remarkable journey and unwavering dedication have left her imprint on countless lives, shaping the future of generations to come.

Begum Anees Khan’s commitment to education and her belief in the power of nurturing young minds were the cornerstones upon which Nasr School stands tall today. With her determination, she transformed a humble pre-school into a beacon of knowledge, fostering an environment where young girls could blossom into confident, knowledgeable individuals. Her noble mission of empowering girls and women through education will continue to resonate through the halls of Nasr School for years to come.

Born into a prestigious Nawabi family of Hyderabad, Begum Anees Khan’s journey was marked by her unrelenting pursuit of knowledge. Her accomplishments were both profound and inspiring. Graduating with full honors and topping the BA examination at Osmania University were just the beginning of her illustrious academic journey. Her thirst for knowledge led her to complete her M.A., and she even ventured to America to achieve her M.Ed., accumulating a wealth of experience that she lovingly poured into every aspect of Nasr School.

Begum Anees Khan’s passion and dedication were contagious. Her father, Mr. Syed Jalaluddin Hussain, and her friend, Mrs. Donna Hussain, were instrumental in guiding her path. Her tireless efforts, coupled with the invaluable insights gained from her American education, paved the way for Nasr School’s evolution from pre-school to high school. Her leadership saw the school flourish into an institution of academic excellence, nurturing over two thousand female students and employing a dedicated team of 27 educators and staff members.

Nasr School’s rise to prominence was a testament to Begum Anees Khan’s unyielding commitment. Under her guidance, the school’s academic standards, discipline, and achievements in cultural programs, committees, and sports garnered national recognition. The motto “Nasr Minullah Fateh Qarib” encapsulated the spirit of the school, promoting not only academic triumphs but also the values of respect for all faiths and a harmonious, secular environment.

As we remember Begum Anees Khan’s remarkable journey, her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. Her vision, determination, and the fruits of her labor continue to shine brightly within the halls of Nasr School and the hearts of all those fortunate enough to have been touched by her. She leaves behind a legacy of empowerment, enlightenment, and enduring progress.
