Hyderabad: A delegation of prominent city figures visited the Consulate General of Iran Hyderabad to mark the 47th National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing solidarity amid the ongoing regional tensions.
The delegation included Siasat Editor Zahed Ali Khan, senior physician Dr Maqdoom Mohiuddin, Faiz e Aam Trust Secretary Iftekhar Hussain, and Dr Roya Rozati, Medical Director of MHRI.
The delegation met H.E. Hamid Ahmadieh and conveyed their support for the people affected by the ongoing conflict involving Iran. As a gesture of humanitarian concern, the delegation also made a contribution towards relief efforts.
Speaking on the occasion, members of the delegation emphasized the importance of standing united in times of crisis and reiterated the need for peace and stability in the region.
The visit coincided with the National Day of Iran, observed annually to commemorate the establishment of the Islamic Republic, and was marked by messages of goodwill, solidarity, and humanitarian concern from the Hyderabad delegation.
