Final Deadline Approaches: Submit Your Feedback on the Waqf Amendment Bill by 15th September 2024!

New Delhi, 14 September 2024: The General Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Fazl-ur-Rahim Mujjadidi Sahib, issued a statement today urging the community to continue sending feedback on the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024 to the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) until the deadline of 12:00 PM on 15th September 2024.

He acknowledged that the JPC had earlier sought public opinion regarding the proposed Waqf Amendment Bill and expressed satisfaction that many had responded positively to the Board’s call to submit comments via the provided QR code and link. Although the initial deadline for submissions was 13th September, the Board recently confirmed that the JPC would continue accepting emails for an additional two days, giving more people the opportunity to participate.

“There is still some more time, and we encourage everyone who has not yet submitted their feedback to do so before the final deadline,” Maulana Mujjadidi said in his statement.

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board urges all concerned individuals and groups to make their voices heard and take advantage of the extended deadline by sending their responses via email by Sunday, 15th September 2024, 12:00 PM.
