MESCO Grades School Sports Day Celebrated

Hyderabad, November 30: MESCO Grades Group of School on Saturday celebrated Sports Day 2019 at Gosha Mahal Police Stadium where students of different age groups demonstrated their extra-curricular and sports skills. Minority Affairs Advisor to Government of Telangana Mr. A.K. Khan exhorted the students to actively partake in sports while pursuing their academics, as a healthy body can keep the mind healthy. On this occasion, Mr. Abid Ali Khan, who secured a Bronze Medal in Asian Shooting Championship (Junior) was felicitated for his achievement.

Young achiever Mr. Abid Ali Khan is the son of Dr Saber Ali Khan and Grandson of Dr Shahid Ali Khan, a Senior Surgeon at the Curewel Hospital. He is also the great grandson of Late Mr. Abid Ali Khan, founder of the publication Siasat Urdu daily.

Mr. A. K .Khan was accorded the Guard of Honour by students.

Secretary MESCO Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed also spoke. India’s first overseas citizen to US Mr Iftekhar Shareef and Mr Irshad Ali were also present on this occasion. Dr Ghouse Mohiuddin, Chairman MESCO and Dr Iftekharuddin were also present on this occasion.
